POWER OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Fine art photographers spend their lives capturing amazing images. Whether it’s street photography, still life, fashion photography, etc; so much love and care goes into a fine art photo. The perfect photos capture history, value, knowledge, and above true beauty. Fine art photographers have so much power that a single image can change the course of history. Many photographers have become influential and their art can live on for centuries. Our wildlife photography covers not only the beauty of nature but also a serious subject matter.

The conservation of all animals, especially endangered species, is very important to us as humans and artists that share this planet. To us, we get up close to an animal to photograph their fine art portrait. We aim to capture their eyes, noses, fur, whiskers, wings, etc; to present to you the most gorgeous and highly detailed photography for your home decor.

FINE ART GIFTS

Throughout the world, fine art can be found. Each may have its own point of view but the idea behind it should have pure meaning. This is why fine art photography makes an amazing gift. Photography brings a new world to new eyes. Imagine giving or receiving a fine art photo of an animal, a landscape, or a perspective that you have never seen before. This moment will open the mind to think differently and to lead the heart with a beautiful new beat.

SELECTING FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

I have learned early on in life my 10-second rule of making a selection, selection about anything not just fine art photography. I believe when I first see something and I feel attracted towards it my cells in my body are automatically attracted towards it there is no intellect involved and this takes no more than 10 seconds. The confusion comes when I start to analyze because now it’s your stored memory that is calling the shots.

I believe in love at first sight because it is the first 10 seconds when I am not thinking but instead just feeling. This is the principle I use not when I am looking at other artist work but even in my day to day life, most importantly for this conversation, I use this principle with my own fine art photography selections. I say just go out and feel.

FINE ART DECORATING

Fine art decorating can be very emotional but fun as well. The impact that one single image can have on us is very powerful. There are many joyous and monumental moments in our lives that we get to experience. The beauty of seeing our families grow, the adventures that made us who we are, and countless memories that we wouldn’t trade for the world. Those are cherished memories that we often wish to go back to. But going through family pictures make us relive those moments. We get to laugh again, cry, and reminisce once more. These feelings should never escape us.

Having our homes be surrounded by what makes us happy is the most perfect way to add our unique personality. The perfect arrangement of fine art photography allows our space to feel true to our hearts and of course our personalities. It may take time considering which photos you want to select and display but the end results will amaze you. The first key to choosing the perfect photo is to listen to what your heart speaks.

CREATING THE REAL CONNECTION

What experience are you bringing into your home? What emotion do you want to feel when you see these pictures displayed in your space? Finding the perfect piece that connects with us also involves taste, style, and emotional appeal. Another important aspect to consider is to connect with the photographer. Learning who the artist is and the inspiration behind their fine art photography awakens a new layer of meaning in your decision.

Next, what print size are you looking to display? A large statement piece? A series of smaller fine art photography perhaps? You can make a big impact in your home by choosing one large statement piece that captivates you, your family, as well as guests. One particular area that many of us focus on is the living room. Especially the blank canvas above the sofa, it’s usually the most prominent wall in our homes. When designing and decorating homes, that wall area should immediately display deep emotion and connection when entering the room. Black and white fine art photography often creates such a dramatic and sentimental aura. The monochromatic look fits perfectly in any living room or family space.

CHOOSING THE PERFECT PHOTO

If your home is already decorated with art but you’re looking to add some fine art photography to your collection, we can offer guidance to create a cohesive look. What’s your favorite element in your space? Let that be your anchor piece. You can use the base of its color to find a complimentary photo to make the room pop. Another fun way to unite your pieces together is to frame them in the same colors or materials found throughout the room. For example, most of your home decor is influenced by a golden or perhaps wooden accent. You can choose the finish for your fine art photo based upon your desired accent to make it feel like it was truly meant to be part of your collection.

FINE ART DECORATING AT HOME

Another approach when choosing the right photo is to be inspired by the seasons. In the spring and summertime, we may want something bright and playful. During the fall and winter, the images of calmness and elements of snow speak more. These are simple ways to incorporate fine art photography into your design scheme. It is also a fantastic way to easily change any room throughout your home.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

The piece of artwork that we finally choose for our homes is an investment that’s certain to add to the beauty and depth of home decor. The beauty of fine art photography, just like our memories, should last forever. One must take proper care of fine art photography and be taken to preserve it. When it comes to photography, it’s recommended to have the print framed in non-glare glass. This framing technique will help protect it against dust, stains, and damaging lights. For a traditional timeless look, matting the photograph adds to it visually and it also helps protect it from damage from the glass. A valuable lesson on where to hang the photograph is to avoid areas that receive direct sunlight.

THE PERFECT PHOTO WITH A MESSAGE

The beauty and significance of art in our society have been growing over the years. We are encompassed by talent and messages of hope. When selecting a work of art for your home, are you carrying a message? Painters paint with their feelings and photographers photograph with their emotions. It is often that artists are conveying that only art speaks. As well as creating for the greater cause. Artists want to give back to their communities and the world as a whole. Not only are you supporting artists, but you are also doing a greater deed. Our fine art photography collection gives a voice to the voiceless by creating awareness of the beauty of wildlife on our earth.

There are endless places that you can find fine art photography. There is such a wide range of artwork to be found just online. It feels like having open access to galleries from around the world from the comfort of your own home. But the connection to the piece, the artist, and its history should play the biggest role. When going through the photos of any fine art collection, you must keep in mind the following questions. Are you feeling a sense of peace and happiness with the piece? What memories are you reliving when you look upon it?… READ MORE

ABOUT FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

Fine art Photography simply is expressing the vision of its creator. A fine art picture tells a story, expresses an idea or an emotion. Thus fine art images are great for your home decor, based on your selection they bring the emotion and feeling you like to create in your home. They also tell others who you are and how you think and feel. Your attraction towards fine art photography is a direct reflection of who you are. That’s one of the reasons when you purchase fine art photography and bring it into your home or office it makes you feel good. You feel good because you are surrounding yourself with the things you love, things that express to others about who you are and what you are made up of. It’s now no more about the artist that created the fine art photography but now it’s about you.

HOW TO CHOOSE ART FOR YOUR HOME

Decorating your home can be an exciting yet scary endeavor. Selecting between the different embellishments, wall hanging decor and other adornments can be dizzying. After all, simply walking into the different rooms of a home can speak volumes about the person who put them together. Their passions, struggles, stories, and personality are all on display through the media that decorate their living spaces.

It’s no wonder that so many people employ wall art for just this task. Wall hanging decor is an incredibly versatile medium as it places its owner’s individual tastes at the focus of the room. Within moments of entering a room, your gaze is carried to the walls and their adornments, and almost immediately, the mood and tone of the home are set.

USING ART TO DEFINE THE ENERGY OF A ROOM

Each room in a house is the backdrop for different parts of our lives and therefore can induce very different emotions. Selecting the appropriate wall art to properly conduct the energy in each room can be tricky, but the right choice can polish up any room and make it feel a lot more like home. So how does one go about creating the atmosphere of a room with art?

THE LIVING ROOM

Mostly used for entertaining and relaxing, this room is usually the centerpiece of any home and often the most intimidating to decorate with fine art. While it can be tempting to play it safe with this room, it is important to go for whatever excites you the most. Wasting this great space on embellishment that doesn’t connect with you is a lost opportunity for a great conversation starter and set the feel of the rest house.

Popular choices for this space are a single large-scale piece or an extensive gallery of wall art. Living rooms are often areas of life, energy, and personality so pieces that mirror and radiate these help to establish such qualities. Fine art mages portraying action, movement, or bold shapes are great ways to achieve this. Contrasting themes, like hanging contemporary wall art in a traditional living room, can be a great way to create interest in the space as well. Additionally, investing in a fine art statement piece for the living room can give you a starting point to build the rest of the room around.

THE BEDROOM

The room where you unwind and prepare for your hectic life can set the tone for your whole day. Bedrooms embody a sense of tranquility, peace, relaxation and are typically the most personal rooms in a home. You want to feel peace and connection with the ornamentation you surround yourself with when you retreat from the world. Fine art pieces, soothing colors or tones, images of nature, and vast landscape photography are great choices for maintaining the serenity of this room. Blues, greys, and beiges are perfect color palettes to work with when establishing a calmer environment. The best places to display wall hanging decor are above the bed or directly opposite it. Additionally, you can hang two smaller pieces of wall hanging decor on either side of your bed above your side tables to create symmetry. Always opt for fine art pieces that are the same length or smaller than the bed or furniture they hang above. You can also balance the room by placing a larger horizontal piece above the bed and filling the wall opposite with a gallery of fine art. This allows you to have more flexibility in curating the feel of the room.

THE KITCHEN

Arguably the most important room in your house, the kitchen is frequently rejected when it comes to fine art adornment. However, this part of your home deserves just as much attention as the others since we spend so much time here. The difficulty with this room is that it tends to be crowded with appliances and lacks free space. Smaller or more modest fine art pieces tend to work better for kitchens as a result. Keeping this area clutter-free and avoiding busy pieces can have things moving smoothly and keep everyone’s stress levels down. Contemporary wall art is a great choice for keeping up the simplicity of this space and giving a cleaner look to the room.

THE OFFICE

When you’re in this space you’re likely focusing on getting a task done, meeting a goal, or working on something you’re passionate about. That’s why it’s important to surround yourself with fine art that will help you channel the energy to support this. Use this space to display wall art depicting action, power, and drive. Conversely, you can also use it to hang up fine art that makes you feel content or simply motivates you to power through your day. Bright colors and high contrasts are elements that can pique the viewer’s interest and wake up the room. Even if you aren’t always completely enthusiastic about the work you do in this room, it helps to have fine art that inspires you to push on. You may wish to select moderately sized pieces for this room so they don’t overpower the room or distract you as you work.

THE BATHROOM

The last room that people usually think to decorate beyond a bowl of potpourri and nice towels, the bathroom has hidden potential to be a great space for fine art. Depending on the use of a particular bathroom, you can opt for different feels when selecting ornamentation for the walls. A half bathroom could do with more fun or quirky embellishment to amuse guests, while you could use calmer pieces to create a more serene feel for a master bathroom. Choosing pieces that play with light colors can open this small space up and give it the illusion of being bigger. Fine art with lighter colors reflects more light than dark colors do, giving the room an airy feeling. This can be perfect for creating a peaceful environment to pamper yourself in or get ready for the day… READ MORE
