Norway. Late afternoon. I love being a wildlife photographer. When animals allow me to get close or I get into extreme conditions, physically or environmentally I feel I have taken the bull by the horns, when I come away with a good photograph.
We all have different levels of taking the bull by the horns.
Today I got news about a very close relative who has beaten cancer. She had found out about this deadly disease months ago. Her immediate reaction was, “I will beat this; I will not let this take me down.” Today, she did exactly that. My list of heroes just got bigger, and boy did she raise my standard of “taking the bull by the horns.”
