Creating pictures of horses is one of my favorite things to do. Horses are supposed to be the most loved animals in the world, creating pictures of horses is basically working out of love, when you create out of love then it’s not work anymore and you create your best that you can. Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, early evening. This horse, as in most of my wild mustang pictures, was so powerful. When he ran I could clearly see he was the alpha male. He always leads the herd while the others showed deference to him. He was strong, muscular, and also fast. Above all, his presence was like no other horse I have photographed in my wild horse photos. Whenever the herd ran, he was in the lead. However, something changed that evening. Because the horse who is being bitten started winning, I detected a noticeable shift in the alpha male.
Consequently, he stopped strutting, no longer the center of attention; he looked so beaten. Meanwhile, I was surprised as he started playing dirty. Most certainly, this is one of the most intense wild mustang pictures I have ever taken. For instance, he bit the winning horse’s ear and neck. This also reminded me of an infamous boxing match where a great athlete lost his integrity. As a result, he lost respect in everyone’s eyes.
After taking this and other wild mustang pictures and horse photos, I learned that it’s OK to lose sometimes, as long as you keep trying. As a result, people will always respect your effort. Once you lose your integrity, it’s lost forever.
