SHORT FILMS: SEE THE STORIES BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND EXPEDITIONS: BY EJAZ KHAN
In my pursuit of capturing photographs of some of our most elusive, magnificent creatures, I have been fortunate to travel to some of the most remote places on the planet – such as the Arctic Tundra, and northern Norway. Of course, I have also been to more accessible areas such as Yellowstone National Park and Haines, Alaska. I like to document my expeditions – this reminds me of what my team and I went through. Hopefully, it will give you an insight into what it takes to capture an image of one of these amazing animals – a lot of effort goes behind it all: Planning, logistics, travel, and of course – luck plays a big role!

I always believe in giving back. When I began to realize how much damage has been done to the animals and the planet due to climate change, I knew I had to do something. The direction led me to conservation groups and organizations.
This is my journey.
As a fashion photographer, I pay the models. In wildlife, I can not pay the animals, so I’ve developed relationships with conservation organizations to do my share of giving back.
